“If you are depressed, you are living in the past. If you are anxious, you are living in the future. If you are at peace, you are living in the present.”
Lao Tzu
The saying goes - “Yesterday is history and tomorrow’s a mystery, they call today the present because it is a gift.”
We can’t change the past, no matter how much we may want to.
The future is unpredictable and uncertain for all of us.
We can do our best to plan, but life always throws us curveballs.
There truly is no point in lingering in thinking of the past or the future.
It can only lead to depression or anxiety.
Focus on the now and appreciate the moment.
That’s all you truly have.
