Adapt or die.   

No one is forcing us to make the changes in life that are beneficial for us.

We can choose to stay stagnant all we want. We just have to deal with the consequences that come with it. 

Those consequences oftentimes are not pretty.

Pain is inevitable.

We get to choose the pain of staying the same or the pain of change.

The pain of discipline or the pain of regret.
