When we realize that the shot clock of life is counting down, we realize that we have to take action. 

We may not feel ready to make a move. We may feel inexperienced or nervous.

But when the shot clock is winding down, the pressure builds. 

As we get older, we should realize that Father Time is undefeated. 

We must accept our mortality daily in order to maximize each day.

Knowing that this game ends one day should give us the clarity to take action today as if that sand will run out tomorrow.
