“I take all day to climb the mountain and then spend about 10 minutes at the top admiring the view.”

  • Sebastian Thrun

You’ve heard it before. Life is about the journey and not the destination.

We obsess over the destination. We feel like getting there is what will bring us joy and fulfillment.

But once we reach that point, we realize that it’s time to set another goal.

Find another peak and start climbing again.

Who we become in the process and the lessons that we learn is what counts.

That is where the fulfillment lies.

It’s just really tough to be aware of that when you’re in the middle of your process.

It takes time and experience to come to this realization.

Make sure you’re appreciating the process while you’re in it.

That’s what it’s about.
