We want success. We want the good times. We want the spoils of war. 

We want to avoid suffering. We want life to be easier for us. 

We must understand that life’s greatest treasures are found in our struggle. 

When we reflect on our life, we cherish the things that we’ve overcome. 

Some of our fondest memories are of the tough times that we’ve gone through and us coming out the other side of it.

Why do we think the present time is any different?

It’s tough to have this awareness when we’re in the middle of the tornado.
