Jerry Seinfeld has come out stating that he has written at least one joke per day for many years. His advice for new comics is to do something towards working on your craft every single day.

Don’t break the chain.

You will build consistency and that will make you feel proud of yourself.

Also, good jokes are written by good comics.

Good comics are created through repetition and time.

The only way to put the law of averages in your favor is by committing to the small daily actions that put the odds in your favor.

Focus on the small habits that you can carry out no matter what every day. 

That is within your control.

The results will take care of themselves over time.
