“If you wish to improve, be content to appear clueless or stupid.”

  • Epictetus

Too many of us fear the judgment of others and what others may say and think about us.

We fear being a beginner and being really bad at something.

This is normal. No one wants to suck.

But you have to suck at something in the beginning in order to improve at it.

Embracing the rookie phases and understanding that being horrible is a part of the process is a necessary part of the journey.

Many of us never begin the journey out of fear that we manufacture in our own minds.

You must be terrible in the beginning of any endeavor in order to get good at it.

Deal with it.

It’s ok. Push through.
