When you go for a hike, the true joy is in the climb up to the top. Once you arrive at the top of the mountain, most of us enjoy the view for ten minutes and then move on.

It’s important for us to smell the roses once in a while. 

We should enjoy our accomplishments. 

However, the reason we enjoy our achievements is because of what it took for us to get there. 

What the process made us become. 

What we learned about ourselves while climbing. 

How hard it was for us to overcome our own thinking and push through. 

This is where fulfillment lies.
