Churchill talked about going from failure to failure without losing enthusiasm as being the definition of success.

Dealing with defeat can be soul crushing. 

It can feel like the game is over. That we could never possibly come back from that. 

Defeat can feel permanent at times.

This is why this quote rings true.

Keeping your heart while dealing with this type of failure is one of the most honorable and brave things someone can do. 

It is extremely difficult to rise above situations like this. 

We must remember that we may experience defeat but we’re never defeated.
