“It is your commitment to the process that will determine your progress.”

  • James Clear

Many of us are chasing the end result as fast as we can, disregarding the inevitable steps that it will take to get there.

When I was younger, I could care less about character development. I didn’t want to hear anything about the process of becoming.

I wanted what I wanted and I wanted it yesterday.

The problem with this type of thinking is that when the going gets tough, it’s easier to start negotiating with yourself.

It becomes logical to make excuses as to why it’s not worth it anymore and that quitting makes sense.

When we focus on the process, we understand that it’s a journey which will forge the character needed to get to the next level.

Only when we appreciate the process of becoming do we internalize that the end result is just one finish line among many on our adventure through life.
