The lens we view life through will determine our probability of success.

The glass half full or half empty analogy rings true.

Believing that it is possible to achieve and believing that we are deserving of it is half the battle. 

Most people give themselves an out, an opportunity to surrender if things get too tough. 

I’ve been guilty of this before, that’s how I know it’s true.

I’ve allowed myself access to the trap door if the pain got great enough.

And sure enough, I’d use the trap door. 

Make sure you eliminate access to waving the white flag before your mission, that way even when it is at its darkest point, you have nowhere to go but through.
