The lessons are a byproduct of adversity and pain.

You can’t gain the necessary knowledge and growth through life without the rough times and challenges.

This is an essential part of the process that many of us would prefer to avoid. 

We spend our time numbing our emotions or trying our best to avoid them, when in reality that is exactly where the progress stems from.

Instead of shrinking to life’s challenges, make a conscious effort to lean into whatever is coming in your path and know deep down that you will come out on the other side a better person.
