“Cowardice is almost always simply a lack of ability to suspend functioning of the imagination.”
Ernest Hemingway
We create scenarios in our minds about what might happen.
We feel anxiety about things that may or may not show up in our lives.
As the old saying goes, we suffer more in imagination than in reality.
If we focus on accomplishing the task at hand and taking things step by step, amazing things can happen.
We don’t need to mentally reside in a state of worry.
We can deal with what is on our plate today and focus on that.
We must have faith that things will fall into place in the future as long as we do the right thing, moment after moment.
There’s no need to stress ourselves out unnecessarily about a future that we may not even be privileged enough to experience.
Carpe Diem.
